A Twitter account linked to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s personal website was hacked, which was later recovered.

According to Indian media, Modi’s Twitter account was hacked last night. The hacker tweeted from this Twitter account that donations for the Code 19 relief fund are now being taken through bitcoin.

The hacker also shared the digital address of getting bitcoin (cryptocurrency) with the tweet and gave his name like John Wick, however the account has been recovered after which the hackers’ tweets have been deleted.

A Twitter spokesperson said that steps have been taken to secure Modi’s Twitter account.
