i have old spice red zone after hours deodorant...and every time i put it on it burns my armpits 30 min or a little more...i have never had deodorant that did that...why does it do that and what should i do?
Sounds like your allergic to it, better try something different. Try the travel sizes first so your not wasting alot of money and then pick one you like. The you can but the one that doesn't burn-good luck!
I think maybe you're either allergic or you are spraying the area for too long. This causes a "frosty". A frosty is made when you spray a deodorant on the skin for too long and too close in one single area. It goes white and starts to form what looks like ice crystals. This is why they're called frosties. It will turn into a blister and welt up.
If you're armpits look like that, spray further away next time you use it and tell your doctor to get it checked out if you're really concerned or they won't go away.
If it just burns without the mark, make sure you spray further away if you already don't or stop using the deodorant all together.
Make sure your not spraying it to near to your armpits as this will burn. If this is not the case then consider changing your deodorant there might just be something in it which your skin doesn't agree with. Hope this helps.
