I do not know what's Romantic for the ladies you're tryin' to impress but there are some aromatic colognes I can suggest...

Chanel Allure: I've never seen a girl hatin' Chanel anythin'. Besides this one last long and sexy.

Armani Diamond: Ladies love the smell of this one. Girls always ask me what I wear when I put this cherry poppers on.

Dior Homme: I'd say this is some what aromatic. This is REALLY sweet just like any Dior colognes. People who love it loves it to death but I've seen some people who keep distances from it. Risky but I love it.

Dolce Gabbana Light Blue: I think this is a mixture between fresh and aromatic. It is a great cologne to wear at Summer for any occasion especially dates. Try Bvlgari BLV as well.

Check out Burberry. They have a variety of scents, all of which are very good, but you really have to try them to find what's right for you. I have Burberry London Special Edition, which is very good, but I don't think they offer it anymore.
