my sis is 27 week pregnant n the doctor said the baby is only 23 weeks, n not developed properly upo 27 weeks. baby weight is less. and advised her to eat well. i want to know which food will help to increase the baby's weight,please advise
Fresh is best during pregnancy!
Eat loots of fresh fruit, vegetables and grains.
Drink loads of water and take pregnancy vitamins.
Eating frequent meals throughout the day is much easier and better for her digestion as she may feel full quickly and can also experience bad gas other wise.
Make sure she is getting plenty of iron (red meat and spinach are good for this) as women often lack it during pregnancy and it helps with her energy levels.
Its hard to say with the information you have provided, does she need to gain weight as well as the baby? She should be eating full fat options not low fat options and be getting enouygh dairy too.
Basically its all about eating reguarly and eating well.
