Smelly armpits?? Help!?

Postby comhghan » Sun Dec 19, 2010 9:54 am

Vapor Couture
I have tried many deodorants and they seem to work at first but after a few weeks they all start to wear off and smell the same. I would put the deodorant on after a shower in the morning and when i get back home from school, my armpits have this musty twang smell to them. I have tried anti-persperant deodorants but they are just super hard to wash them off in the shower (Has this happened to anyone?) so i have recently tried to use the toms natural deodorant (with scent) and i like it because its natural and smells nice but it only last 12 hours...not really 12 so, my question is what are the best deodorants to use, or even deodorants that you cant get at the drugstore?..because they are just not working out.

When you take bath ..make sure you put some lemon drops or Rose Water and also one can try with Coconut oil..a little bit..not much...
Drink lots of water...and you can actually also use some Powder (Prickly heat powder...they absorb sweat..)

If your deodorants are generally lasting 12 hours I think that's working very good. They're not endless and most people aren't out of the house over 12 hours at a time, at least not without a shower. And no one's armpits are going to be completely smell-free, and if anyone tells you theirs are, they're lying. It's just a natural occurrence that's not any cause for worry or panic.

But if you feel like yours are worse than average, then talk to a dermatologist or your general health care provider for prescription options. But since those will cost money and generally contain more chemicals you might not want to put in your body, I would stick to your natural deodorants and just remember to take at least one shower a day, more if you work out or sweat a lot.

Good luck!

Mitchum is the best antiperspirant/deodorant I've ever used. You can get the "Clinical Strength" type at your wal-mart or where-ever you shop. It works like a charm for me, and it takes forever for my body to resist it. After that happens, I switch to Arm and Hammer clinical strength. It works just as well. Alter your deodorants every few months. If it keeps getting worse, or you just can't stand it any longer (I don't know who could. I hate having bad pits. d= ) You can talk to your doctor. He/She will prescribe something stronger.
Hope I helped!
