My hubby works away, he's on a roster of 26 days on 9 days off!
I don't work, i have not worked for the lasy year due to not having my license, i get my license next month and then i can start looking for work, what i want to do is another story!
My hubby thinks i should go and work with him, hes out on the Gorgon job, i'll be cleaning working 26days, long shifts, wearing heavy clothing and being stuck in a tiny room with just my hubby!!!! He I am in 2 minds as i am a girly girl, i love having my hair, nails, waxing done and love my body creams just love everything a girl loves to do, im not sure i could handle being around dirt, cleaning toilets, working long days for 26days, being with my hubby in a tiny room, no place to go of the evening! Am i being shelfish? Should i go?

Make that a *Large* vodka, Lady, cause you ain't gonna like it.

Seek for work that will bring you joy in your life even if your spouse disagrees with you . Do what make you happy not him in finding a good job

Yeah maybe a little selfish, just at least try it for one 26day shift and if you really absolutely want then quite, and tell him you did try, then use the money to buy your clothes and whatever you need for the next job you find. i mean being locked in a room for days on end with your loved ones can be hell, and im sure he will think differently after that too. he might agree with you and change his mind after. he might just get sick of you and be like yeah your right maybe we should work separate jobs, but jobs like that do pay good. and if you do like it ask for separate shifts and tell them why they will understand and its your right by law to ask for that for reasons that you are married. if not then tell him and be nice about it, he has feelings too, and this is his pride, and he wants to share it with you.
