I'm getting a sew-in done by my friend, she does a good job at sew-ins, from what I seen. I would prefer going to a professional, but I don't have the money for that at all, plus my friend is good at it.

This is my first time getting a sew-in, and I plan on having it until the end of Fourth of July week. What treatments should I take in keeping my hair and weave healthy and looking good.

Also how long should this last, and having a professional vs. non-professional make a difference.
