Wash your hair a few times a week, I go for two-three times a week. Use a bristle-brush to distribute the oils while brushing and use dry shampoo to wash without getting your hair wet.
Start the hair-washing process first when taking a shower. When showering, use a moisturizing shampoo and get the hair really clean. Then use conditioner all over your hair; use a comb to distribute it throughout all the hair. Do Not rinse yet. Use a hair clip and clip the hair with conditioner in it out of your way so you can finish the rest of your shower.
My showers are about twenty minutes, so that's enough time to moisturize and deep-condition the hair. When the shower is almost over rinse the hair completely of conditioner. Put in leave-in moisturizer after the shower.
Continue this for a few weeks, it take a while for hair to recover. If its still dry after a month, consult a salon professional. Avoid blow-drying and straitening your hair as well. Let the hair air-dry.
