This is ok as long as it is NOT a progesterone only pill.

If you are on a progesterone only pill you must take it within ONE hour of the same time everyday.

Your patient information leaflet should tell you.

Whenever you start missing your scheduled time it can affect the effectiveness of the pill. Perfect use is at the same time every day and this is when birth control bills are 99% effective. When you start to miss the scheduled time or miss a day it can drop the effectiveness of your pill as low as 94%.
