I'm drinking it now....it's high in vitamin c and cleanses the digestive tract, encouraging evacuation of waste.Drinking lemon/lime water is actually very cleansing for your system. It's good for your liver, kidneys, and stomach. Although lemon and limes are acids they break down into alkaline when they hit your stomach. No it does not help your lose weight, although drinking lots of water is great for weight loss. If you want better digestion try drinking your liquids separate from your meals. Liquids water down your solids, and slow digestion. A slow digestion means it takes longer to burn off what you've eaten.
