37 weeks and I feel like crap. Back thighs pelvis. EVERYTHING HURTS!?

Vapor Couture
First of all this is my 3rd pregnancy. But my first boy. And for the past 3 or 4 days I've been experiencing some pretty bad pains. First it was my back then that died down. Then it went to my thighs...hurt so bad I didn't even wanna move. Still feels that way but i am able to get up and walk around now. But getting me up from lying down or sitting...that's a whole other story. Its a pain.

And now about them pesty braxton hicks...I've been having them for the past 3 days. Yesterday they got pretty uncomfortable to the point where i had to readjust the position i was in...today they stayed pretty much at the same comfort level. Still have to readjust every time one comes on. I don't count how many i've been having because they come and go but then again i have them all day long. So i guess it would be smart if i did start counting them.

I just tried going to bed but the pain in my lower back and the braxton hicks were making it impossible. So here i am. Any advice that does not involve me making the 30 minute drive to the hospital?

Are the contractions consistent? I'd try and count them for an hour and then call the doc. Or you could try to drink some water and have a lie down on your side to see if they'd go away. I know that the days I have more Braxton Hicks are the days I didn't drink enough water.

I'm also 37 weeks pregnant with my third and to be honest, I think my body just wants to be done with this pregnancy. I'm with you in the everything hurts club. I was up from 1230-4am yesterday just sitting up in pain. Aside from the back and leg pains I have nausea. It's so delightful.

Good luck, mama. I'm right there with you.

Call your doctor. He will know if you are just in early labor (that's what I think) or if it just that uncomfortable stage at the end. The doctor will be able to tell you what to do better than anyone on here can.

I really don't have any advice for you...sorry!
But I do know how you feel. I am 36 weeks 2 days with baby boy #3. I have been so uncomfortable the past few days. I had a Dr appt today and I am 1 cm dialated. My whole body is sore too. Taking a bath seems to help for a minute, but other than that I can't get any relief.
We are almost there!!! Hang in there :)
Good Luck.

I so know how you feel. I hurt so much, especially at night, if I sit or lay down, then try to get up again, I feel like I can barely walk! I have to hobble around... Try taking a tylenol, and a warm bath if you can, that may help you sleep, and you will know if you are in actual labor by the timely and consistent contractions that don't go away when you change positions. If you are in a lot of pain and just don't feel right, go on to the hospital, but otherwise, try the tylenol and call your OB in the morning to see what they think. Good Luck!
